FALL MIGRATION

For 10 days the biggest adult party on the East Coast crashes into North Myrtle Beach like an ocean wave! At Spring Safari a wide variety of activities are scheduled for the event. Popular bands show up along Main Street playing crowd favorites, and shag dance instructors will offer classes to the masses who are seeking to improve their skill or increase their repertoire of moves. On the last Saturday of SOS everyone meets on Main Street for the perennial favorite parade of the year, the ACSC Club's Parade.
On the first Sunday & only Monday of the Fall Migration everyone meets in the street for two of the biggest block parties you have ever seen, Fun Sunday & Fun Monday. On Fun Sunday the party is in the street beside the OD Arcade. Some of the best names in beach & shag music will help you rock the day away with a few thousand of your closest friends. Don't worry if you can't get enough fun in one day, because on Monday we are gonna' do it all again. For Fun Monday we will pack Main Street from OD to Hillside with every smooth dancing fun lovin' friend that we can find. There will be great music, dancing in the street, & fun to be had by all.

Mark your calendars for our Fall Pig Roast on Saturday, October 10th, 2026, from 6–9 pm at 382 Cook Rd, Gray Court, SC 29645 — and the best part? It’s completely FREE for members!
We’re firing up a classic Southern pig roast with delicious food, cold drinks, a live DJ spinning your favorite shag tunes, raffles, door prizes, and plenty of good times with the best dance community around. Bring your a side dish, your appetite, and that Carolina shag spirit — this is the night to reconnect, cut loose, and make memories.
Non-members are welcome too for just $20, but members, this one’s on the house. Don’t miss out on the food, the fun, the music, and the fellowship!

Are you ready for an adults-only night of classic Carolina shag dancing? Join us at the Shag Shindig Spotlight on Saturday, October 24th at Lynn’s, where DJs Stephen Balok and Jamie Clontz will keep the dance floor packed spinning authentic 45 records all evening.
This fun fundraiser supports the Junior Shag Dance Team, giving you the perfect chance to enjoy great music, fellowship, and dancing while helping a wonderful group of young dancers.
